Whoops!

Oh, you silly Americans, what have you gone and done now?

On a plus point, you've at least given the rest of world statistical justification for claiming that the majority of Americans are arrogant selfish idiots...

I couldn't agree more. Or at least, 51% of us are. My theory is that thanks to fairly recent events, many people are too scared to consider that anyone but Bush can keep us out of harms way.

They're idiots.

I think we can stand back and let Veruka show exactly how much Americans really know about world events. And isnt a veruka some sort of wart on the foot? enough said

1776? Which thing are you on about? I know that that's when Gibbon published The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, and I think Austria decriminalised witchcraft in that year, but I don't think most of us are pissed off at either historians or witches... (do correct me if I'm wrong there, fellow Brits).

I'm not going to give a full rebuttal of your nonsense about the war and the Germans. I reckon most Brits really apppreciated the help the USA gave us back then. As I'm sure America appreciates the help we have given them in Iraq and all the other places you can't stop meddling with.

And you were supposed to keep The Spice Girls, not send them back. They were a present!

You know, no matter how hard some of us try to illustrate that we're forward thinkers, open minded and intelligent, someone else steps in waving the American flag with ignorance with a big "I'm stupid" sign on their forehead.

I'm so defecting.

I hope that isn't a jibe at my bad typing, and lazyness to check spellings

I am amazed that while Germany and the UK have somewhat laid our grievances to rest (except for in football) that our "allies" over the pond think that we should still owe them something for them stealing our thunder and claiming they did all the winning in the war.
Hmm...
I shouldn't have read this post. Now I dislike 51% of Americans even more.
